Aluminium Robot Gripper

The MakerBotics Aluminium Robot Gripper is a lightweight and strong end-effector that is commonly used in robot arms. The gripper features a mounting platform for a powerful metal gear servo like an MG945 or MG996R. Constructed out of aluminium, it can be used for both lightweight and medium-duty tasks.  The gripper comes with threaded spacers to make it easy to mount the servo with M3 screws.

Designed with versatility in mind, the gripper features two mounting holes that allow for seamless integration with a robot arm frame using M3 hardware. Whether you’re working on small-scale or large-scale servo-driven robotic arms, this gripper is a recommended choice due to its compatibility and adaptability.

Installation is a straightforward exercise with the MakerBotics Aluminium Robot Gripper. The gripper comes pre-assembled, only requiring a servo. Attaching the servo only requires fastening the M3 screws to the threaded spacers on the gripper.

Please Note:

• Servo Motors are not included. Use the following servos; MG945, MG996R.
• For heavier smooth/slippery loads, it is recommended to line the gripper tips with rubber for added grip onto the object to be maneuvered.
