This 4-channel relay interface shield was made specifically for the micro:bit microcontroller. When paired with a micro:bit microcontroller you can control various high-current devices such as lights, motors and actuators with ease. Onboard are 4 high-quality relays that can be interfaced with either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC).
The micro:bit controller directly interfaces with this board via the micro:bit® interface connector. The control signal comes directly from pins P4, P3, P7 and P6 of the BBC micro:bit.
The shield has 4 LEDs that inform of the state of the module. A power activation LED that lights when a signal is received on the IN pin. When a signal is received an audible click can be heard as the relay triggers, connecting the output pins.
Please note: The micro:bit microcontroller is not included. It can be purchased here.
