Power and Communication

The 1.3-inch OLED display can be interfaced with either 3.3V or 5V compatible microcontrollers such as the ESP32, Teensy or Arduino microcontrollers without a need for a level shifting module. The LCD uses I2C communication and therefore you can use multiple screens on one microcontroller with the help of an I2C multiplexer. The Default I2C address is 0x78. If an I2C multiplexer is not present and you need to add a second screen, you can select 0x7A by moving the “Address selection resistor” from the 0x78 location to the 0x7A location on the second screen.
