Note: RP2040 Expansion Shield is designed for use with our RP2040 Core Board or a Raspberry Pi Pico. Other RP2040 microcontroller variants may not be compatible. Confirm with your supplier if your board is compatible. 

Make prototyping easy with the RP2040 Core Board or the Raspberry Pi Pico. This shield features two modes of connection to ancillary devices such as sensors via EDG screw terminals and female Dupont headers. Mounting this shield is also made easy with 4 mounting holes accepting M3 screws.

The pin labelling matches the pin labelling on the RP2040 Core Board or the Raspberry Pi Pico making it easy to decipher the pinout when making connections.

Tips and tricks:

• While you have access to both screw terminals and Dupont connections, screw terminals are most recommended for secure connections to peripherals such as sensors or relays.
