The L293D motor driver IC is a popular and easy-to-use motor driver used to control two DC motors and therefore can be used in applications such as driving a small robot chassis. This motor driver IC can be used to replace damaged or burnt-out chips on the L293D motor driver modules. The driver IC can also be used for rapid prototyping of circuits on a solderless breadboard.
The driver IC can be controlled using microcontrollers such as Arduino, Teensy and ESP32 Microcontrollers.
