DC – DC Step Down Module – 5V 5A

This DC – DC Step Down Module is excellent for devices requiring a wide range of input voltages up to 27V and a current output of up to 5A. Use this DC-DC module in robotics projects or general applications requiring a stable and fixed 5V output. This module features connection points for up to 6 servos or if you wish to use it as a non-servo power supply, you can solder wires directly to the designated solder points on the output section.

Tips and tricks

• Attach a heatsink  and provide adequate airflow with a fan when the load exceeds 3A
• To convert for non-servo applications, directly solder wires to the two output voltage solder points and use a pair of pliers to snap off the servo connection PCB.

Please Note:

• Please observe the polarity of the input voltage and connected device.
• Use this DC – DC Step Down Module in an area with adequate airflow when using it close to the maximum rated output. Attaching a heatsink is most recommended.
• This DC-DC converter is fixed to 5V DC.
