Our steel hubs are designed for hobby or professional applications requiring a heavy-duty hub for custom mounting solutions such as wheels or brackets. The steel construction helps to transmit more torque or force compared to the aluminium or plastic hubs. For added clamping force, these hubs feature two threaded holes to clamp two grub screws to the shaft. This reduces the tendency for slip in high-torque applications.
These hubs can work with our spur-geared motors, heavy-duty planetary-geared motors or stepper motors.
Our 5, 6, 6.35mm hubs use M3 hardware and the 8mm hub requires M4 hardware to mount to your desired structure. An Allen key is included for your convenience!
