Description

Through its design, the A02YYUW Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor enables distance measurement and obstacle avoidance applications. It is an excellent sensor for use outdoors or in unfavourable conditions that affect the performance of standard ultrasonic sensors. Featuring high accuracy and an IP67 rating,  this sensor is a must-have for robotics projects requiring an easy-to-use and high-end ultrasonic sensor.

This sensor uses sound waves to determine the distance between the sensor and an object. It emits a high-frequency sound wave and measures the time it takes for the sound wave to bounce back after hitting an object. The system utilizes this information to calculate the distance between the sensor and the object.

Designed to be waterproof, the A02YYUW Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor can withstand outdoor or wet environments without sustaining water damage. This makes it ideal for applications such as robotics, industrial automation, and outdoor distance measurement. The combination of built-in processing capability and serial communication capability allows for easier software integration with this sensor. Connectivity:

The ultrasonic sensor can be interfaced with either 3.3V or 5V compatible microcontrollers such as the ESP32, Teensy or Arduino microcontrollers. The A02YYUW communicates via the serial bus and no logic level shifter is required.
